Sweet Pea 'Theia-Bella'

£3.95
out of stock

A fistful of sweet peas- there's nothing better. They are a confidence-giving, generous flowering plant. The more you cut the more they flower. They're easy and relatively fuss-free. Great big towers of them making your growing space more dynamic and beautiful to look at, they're a staple of the cutting garden.

Originally bred by Roger Parsons. Theia Bella is a beautiful maroon flake, much like Suzy Z, the background is almost metallic. The maroon gives way to a flush of purple where the standards meet the wings. Very pretty.

Best sown under cover in autumn to get the biggest, most productive plants. Plant out in spring. Or sow under cover from January and then plant out in the spring.

The young plants can handle a light cold-spell but do protect from hard frosty temperatures. Pinch out the growing tips at 6" tall to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. No need to pinch Autumn sown sweet peas.

Hardy Annual

Aspect: Full Sun

Spacing: 8 inches apart

Days to Maturity: 75-90 approx

Height: climber 5-8ft
