Strawflower ‘White’
The best, best, best flower for drying! Strawflowers are papery in nature and they keep their beautiful colours so well. They're lovely when used fresh, and they're such a bonus for the dried flower pantry come winter.
This variety is white with a lovely yolk centre when it's left to fully blow open. Perfect for harvesting closed and dried for wintery arrangements, or use fresh, with its golden centre blown open for a lovely summer meadow feel.
Best sown in early spring. They need light for germination so don't cover with compost and plant out when the threat of frost has passed.
If sown in Autumn to overwinter, protect from hard frosts.
