Wednesday 4th March Flowers
There's a new member of the farm- a little whippet named Jimmy. Now that March is here, the month of many changes, we are beginning to have flowers again. Anemones, Leucojum, and flowering branches, dripping with blossom.
Early March; the time of the blackthorn blossom billowing from the hedgerows, her delicate petals spilt all over the road. She comes like a light, piercing through the chinks in winter’s armour- to tell us that all will be well and that spring is here again.
Thank fuck.
